Launched in 2009, the Okanagan Print Triennial (OPT) is an open juried print exhibition based on the international model for such projects established over the last forty years.
In the spirit of acknowledging and celebrating the vitality and variety of approaches and techniques in contemporary work in printmaking, the OPT aims to bring the very best in current printmaking practice to audiences in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.
The OPT is a collaborative project of the Kelowna Art Gallery, the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus, and the Vernon Public Art Gallery. The juried group exhibition alternates between the Kelowna and Vernon galleries, with the winner of each show being given a solo show at the alternate gallery concurrently with that year’s OPT show.
The exhibition dates of the OPT 2018 at the Kelowna Art Gallery are March 24 to June 10, 2018. The solo show for the OPT 2015’s exhibition prize winner Sean Caulfield will be held at the Vernon Public Art Gallery from March 15 to May 16, 2018.
Submissions for Okanagan Print Triennial 2018 are now closed.
